Academic Excellence is coming soon!!!!
In Heart of God Church, we believe that academic excellence and spiritually are synonymous.
Something is amiss if a student is on-fire for Jesus, committed to church and yet doing badly
in school. In fact, hoGc teaches that academic excellence and spirituality are proportionate.
In other words, the more spiritual you are, the better you should be as a student. Excelling in church is a
great testimony to the Christians, but excelling in studies is an even greater testimony to the world.
As my church's pastor, Pst How once said, "Education is for the developing and training of the mind. A mind
that is trained is quick to understand, think, analyze and make good decisions."

That is why in hoGc, the youths must attain a minimum academic standard before they can serve
in the ministry of leadership. The leaders need to obtain an L1R5 of 20 and below , while normal youths need
to have an L1R5 of 25 and below before they can serve in ministry! All students are also required to fulfill 20hrs
of effective studying time each week. If they do not complete the study rule, they will not be allowed
to attend services.

These guidelines have seen concrete results, and last year, hoGc Youths outperformed themselves!
60% of them who took their GCE 'O' Levels last year qualified for admission into a JC, while
90% were eligible for Poly admission. As for students who took their GCE 'A' Levels last year,
93% of them qualified for admission to a local university!!!!

Isn't that awesome?! YEAH! haha Join us this Jul, 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th!!!

where the connect group leader, zone leaders and pastors will meet and get to know
them better! it'll be great man!

During home room yesterday,
the school gave out targets set by the MOE for us to achieve for O levels, according to our PSLE scores.
GUESS WHAT?! MOE wants me to get A1 for all my subjects!!!! -__- TSK! walau!
and last term I only got like 4A1s....DIDN'T MEET THE CRITERIA! means currently, I'm not a value added student!
AHHH! got to work real hard man!

This is my NEW aim.
I am going to do 2 to 3 Ten year series paper of different subjects EVERYDAY... so yeah...gona set aside
at least 4hrs per day to study. EXCLUDING doing homework. yeap yeap!

today was a day of PUREE EVIL!
first, I got caught for my hair, AGAIN! then during english lesson there was a fight! like a REAL fight with fists punching and legs kicking! it was beniah against bjorn!!!!! yea..the Bs. -__- then after that, during chinese lesson, wei shi had a FIERCE argument with LTC!!! like WHOAAAA...quarrel until both Mr.Kwok and Mr.Ong come up to the class to see what was going on! tsk 5B's got to increase it's discipline level man!the current discipline level is uh-uh! NOT GOOD.

BUT BUT BUT! Mrs Chan has split 5B into two classes for science lessons! one is the better class, where we'll learn things faster, and the other group is the slower one. AND I'M IN THE BETTER ONE! WHOOOO!!!!!! we go to the humans room for every science lesson! cool man! AIR-CON! XD

Also, I'm back to my hectic life! running all over school...all the teachers are going, Eugene can you help me get the books? Eugene can you help me to find this and tht person? etc etc etc. shucks! oh and I am currently reading a book called the fourth dimension! it's by Rev. Dr. David Yonggi Cho!!! Dr. Cho is the pastor of the LARGEST CHURCH in the world now and of all Christian history too! soo inspiring man!

Then after school, I rushed back home for A.maths tuition till 5pm, then had a conference callwith Mrs Sui...LOL yeah you're right. I didn't meet her, cause she left school alrdy.(: okay then on my way to school, was talking to Mrs Sui about O level stuffs and about my future school,etc. then reached school, met fel, cheryl, marvin and yinglin @ the canteen to help bring back one guitar. then walked to the bus stop with marvin and felicia. We kept jabbing each other on the way?! LOL haha marvin's MEANVIN, felicia's FELIMEAN and they called me MEANGENELOOL!!! haha then felicia pangseh-ed us ): her bus came and went off! tsk! hah then my turn to pangseh marvin! ha my bus came....yeaah.

Today's the third day since school started!
school so far has been GREAT! but firstly, today is also 4 people's birthday!!!

there's one awesome news! I got FULL MARKS for my maths mock exam today!!!!!! FULL MARKS!!!!!! OH MAN! I'M A GENIUS!!!! haha or maybe it's just lucky?? hmm haha I don't
know...

oh and you know what? prayer works WONDERSS MAN!
yesterday, my bag was superr heavy and I prayed asking God to send a bus as soon
as I reach the bus stop, and IT HAPPENED!!!! I was like WOAHH! powerful! haha
God listens even to the smallest of prayers! He's such a great GREAT God. I LOVEEE HIM!

yea....School's been quite intense lately but I think I can manage!
my classmates are going crazy too!! haha today we all went mad! -__-
during SS, we were like ehhhhh Mr.Law never comeee! CELEBRATE and we just
ran around the school, camp in the toilet to talk and message. Vikesh went to
bully christopher..LOL TSK THAT BULLY! and LTC wasted alll of our time!
he was firstly 20mins late, then he said, class your M.T oral is coming up, let's practice.
So he switched on his com, but it was not working, so he said I go office take radio.
but when he came back up, it was like 2pm alrdy?? and he left at 1.30pm. TSSK wasted all our
time!! we were like WALAUU! haha then we just read a few stuffs from the book then left
when the bell rung.

And yesterday I slept like for 3hrs in school! for morning assembly, then POA cause the teacher
was not absent, then slept also during hall assembly, and of course during mother tongue lesson. YEAH!!! haha was super tired cuz i didn't sleep the previous night plus my teeth
hurt like mad! so sleeping was the best solution!! haha (:
